Shri Digamber Jain BalBodhniSabha (Regd.), Saharanpur was founded by our late respected Guru Shri Jai Chandra Prasad Ji ‘Bhagat’ to impart religious teachings to the younger generation.

He passed away in 1958 creating a big gap in the Jain community of District Saharanpur. He was a selfless guide and mentor of thousands of his disciples.Keeping in view, his noble ideals some of his disciples formed a body to revive the work of the late Guru Ji and elected a working team with 15 members. Campus

Spread over a sprawling 1.331 hectare campus, the three storeyed building for different kinds of activities. Supported by the commitment and experience, the school provides state of the art amenities and infrastructure.

Laboratories

These are situated on the ground floor, first floor & second floor of senior wing.

Sports

Regular participation in physical activity is associated with a range of physical and mental health benefits both in childhood and adulthood. Active children become healthy adults and schools play a key role in contributing to that outcome.

Lift

A Lift has been installed to help the moment of children with different needs since the building has three floors.

Library

The school has a State- of- the-Art Library. The library has a collection of about 9,163 books. This collection comprises of Non-Fiction and Fiction segment for Primary, Middle and Senior level students.

We have a well-equipped medical room with a trained Nurse available during school hours.

Principal's Message

The world has changed inordinately since Lord Mahavira Academy welcomed its first students in 1974, but its mission to provide ethical and quality based education to its students in order to create globally competent yet ‘salt of the earth’ citizens continues to be paramount.

Our society is the result of hard work of Late Guru Shri. Jai Chandra Prasad Ji (Bhagat ji), samaritan and visionary extraordinaire. His vision was to create, men and women of character, dedicated to the service of nation. The greatest tribute I can think of paying Bhagat Ji is to take his vision towards realization.

I adopt his vision as my mission in life , to facilitate the realization of his dream of creating generations of future leaders, who would emerge from their educational plunge in this School to come out into the world, as better citizens of our great nation and of the world of tomorrow. Read more

President’s Message

In 1974, the 2500thPariNirvan Year of BhagwanMahavira, we set up Lord Mahavira Academy after purchasing about 1500 sq yard of land on Chilkana Road. We built 3 rooms on it. The school started with 20 children & three teachers including Principal Mrs. P.Kumar.

The academy became popular gradually and is now one of the best schools in District Saharanpur with a strength of about 3000 students and three spacious buildings.Moral and religious education is also provided to prepare the students as noble citizens of our mother land.

The academy has been showing excellent results in CBSE Board Examinations and many of our promising students are getting entries into prestigious professional colleges and institutions and are occupying high positions in top class government organizations or private companies. Read more
